Competitive spirit and chatty nature leads to a career in recruitment

Cara graduated from Dundee University with a Business Management degree, making history as the first person in her family to attend a university outside of Aberdeen and the first to achieve a first-class degree.

Get out of this lady’s way when she has a goal in sight! Fiercely determined, she revels in proving people wrong and is highly competitive. During her university days, she channelled this energy into playing volleyball in the women’s first team. Sanguine about their level of success Cara admits that they “lost a few, won a few” and it’ll probably come as no surprise that she played in the attacking positions of Opposite and Outside Hitter.

Cara loves a quiz and every week she participated in the Kilted Kangaroo pub quiz while living in Dundee. Perhaps our affinity for a quiz trophy (current Sports Challenge Winners) was the ultimate talent magnet she couldn’t resist?

While she misses uni life in Dundee, Cara is rediscovering her hometown of Aberdeen - watch out because she’s on the hunt for a new sporting team challenge here!
