Role Overview:

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee timely and accurate financial reporting across the fleet’s operational activities, supporting management decision-making. You’ll also supervise two Accounts Assistants, helping to develop their skills and enhance the team’s performance.

      

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of operational and maintenance costs across the fleet, ensuring accuracy and investigating variances.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly and year-end reports, including accruals, reclassifications, and intercompany transactions.
  • Supporting month-end reporting packs for Senior Leadership and Investors.
  • Approving payments and managing banking processes.
  • Liaising with External Auditors and Tax Advisors for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Maintaining the General Ledger and enhancing reporting, processes, and internal controls.
  • Supervising and mentoring Accounts Assistants.

     

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar finance role.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
  • Committed to accuracy, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
