Accounting Assistant - VR/31874
Accounting Assistant required to support a busy finance team within an established energy services company. This ongoing contract role will assist in maintaining accurate and timely financial records and is well suited to a detail-focused finance professional with experience in a similar position.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Preparing and posting accurate journal entries.
- Performing bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Maintaining the integrity of general ledger accounts.
- Supporting full accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assisting to collate all relevant information ahead of company audits.
- Providing relevant information for business stakeholders.
Applicants to this role require
- Recognised accounting qualification, or relevant experience within a service company environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience and proficiency with accounting software’s.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment, whilst also working effectively to own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
