Accounts Assistant - VR/32155

Join an established energy services company as an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you’ll work closely with a busy finance team, supporting the timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices. This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience in a similar position who is keen to further develop their skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

            

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Ensuring purchase invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assisting with the preparation of payment runs.
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Investigating and resolving queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contributing to the preparation and production of reports as required.
  • Supporting the collation of relevant information for annual audits and reviews.

                

Applicants to this role require

  • Previous experience in a similar transactional accounts processing role.
  • IT skills, with the ability to use systems such as Excel and Sage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build up strong working relationships with suppliers, dealing with any issues in a calm and resolute manner.
