Accounts Assistant - VR/32361
An established, locally headquartered business is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team. With a strong focus on Purchase Ledger responsibilities, this role will also provide exposure to wider finance activities, making it well suited to someone with previous invoice processing experience who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative working environment.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Handling invoice processing, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations and following up on any outstanding queries.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and updating spreadsheets.
- Assisting with day-to-day administrative support for the finance function.
- Ensuring purchase ledger information is processed efficiently and in line with company procedure.
Applicants to this role require
- Previous Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using Xero would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Positive and proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
