Accounts Assistant - VR/32430

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an Accounts Assistant to provide short-term holiday cover within their Finance Team.

     

This is a varied role offering exposure to both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, alongside general finance administration and ad hoc support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations during a busy period.

      

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Availability to commence the assignment at short notice.
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar finance support role, although candidates currently studying towards a degree in accounting or finance will also be considered.
  • Understanding of both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
  • The ability to work to instruction, whilst ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines.
  • A proactive and reliable attitude, with a willingness to support the wider team where required.
