Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller - VR/32528

Experienced Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller required to join a well-established business in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join a successful and growing organisation, taking ownership of the sales ledger while playing a key role in cash flow management, forecasting, credit control and financial reporting.

     

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Supporting the end-to-end accounts receivable and credit control function.
  • Proactively chasing outstanding debt and allocating incoming payments.
  • Preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly forecasts.
  • Producing forecast versus actual variance analysis and KPI reporting.
  • Preparing and issuing customer and intercompany sales invoices
  • Working closely with cross departmental teams to ensure accurate invoicing schedules and forecasting.
  • Maintaining customer account records and perform reconciliations.
  • Carrying out credit checks and maintaining debtor information.
  • Supporting budgeting activities and providing financial analysis as required.

         

Applicants to this role require

  • Previous experience in a similar Accounts Receivable/Credit Control position.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach with a professional and conscientious attitude.
