Audit Manager - VR/32083
Opportunity for an experienced audit professional to join a local Audit & Accounts Team as a Manager. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading client engagements, developing people, and delivering high-quality work across a varied portfolio of corporate and third-sector clients throughout Scotland. This is an office based role ideally based in the city centre of Aberdeen.

As an Audit Manager, you will take responsibility for managing and delivering a range of audit and accounting assignments. Working closely with senior management, you will ensure that work is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget, while supporting the continued development of a growing team.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Managing and delivering audit, accounting and corporate tax assignments for corporate and charity clients across Scotland.
- Supervising, coaching and developing junior team members.
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and UK audit standards.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and providing high-quality support.
- Contributing to the improvement of systems, processes and use of technology.
Applicants to this role require
- A professional accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA or equivalent), or exam-qualified.
- Ideally up to two years’ post-qualification experience in a UK practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and practical experience in statutory audit.
- Working knowledge of UK personal and business taxes.
- Confident client-facing skills and experience supporting a portfolio of clients.
- Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and the ability to deliver work on time and within budget.
- Experience supervising and developing junior colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional ethics.
