Bid/Tender Manager - VR/32827

An urgent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bid/Tender Manager to join a well-established organisation on an initial short-term basis. This role will play a key part in supporting a busy tendering and business development function, managing opportunities from initial qualification through to submission and award.

   

Working closely with stakeholders across multiple business areas, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, commercially focused submissions while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved.

               

This is a varied and hands-on role that will suit an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly add value to an established team.

           

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end bid and tender process.
  • Coordinate bid activities across multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and review high-quality tender responses.
  • Support bid strategy development and submission planning.
  • Assist with commercial reviews and proposal preparation.
  • Manage clarification responses throughout the tender process.
  • Ensure all submissions are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

           

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous bid management and tendering experience.
  • Strong proposal writing and document management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet demanding deadlines.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running.
