Step into a hands-on finance role where you’ll manage day-to-day bookkeeping, reconcile accounts, and ensure payments and transactions are accurate and timely. You’ll work closely with senior finance colleagues, supporting smooth financial operations across multiple entities. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recording and maintaining day-to-day financial transactions within an accounting system, including sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, payments, petty cash and credit card activity.
  • Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made in line with agreed terms.
  • Reconciling bank accounts, including multi-currency accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy of postings.
  • Maintaining accounts payable processes, including supplier payments, expense claims and intercompany transactions.
  • Preparing and maintaining supporting financial schedules, including monthly service or operational reports, in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Monitoring and reconciling employee expense claims, ensuring appropriate authorisation, accuracy and timely reimbursement.
  • Liaising with customers regarding payment queries and outstanding balances, supporting effective credit control.
  • Maintaining accurate records for employee benefits and related deductions, ensuring correct financial posting and reconciliation.
  • Providing day-to-day finance support to senior accounting personnel and contribute to collaboration across multiple business entities.

      

About You:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration or a similar finance role.
  • Solid understanding of transactional accounting principles and ledger management.
  • Confident user of accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines in a structured finance environment.
