Bookkeeper - VR/30122

We are looking to speak with Part-Time Bookkeepers for a practice firm based in the city centre. Ideal candidates have accounting software experience, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail. This role is for 21-25 hours per week.

    

The key responsibilities of the Bookkeeper are:

  • Providing a high level of customer care to clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of clients’ book-keeping and VAT returns.
  • Use of various accounting software packages, including QuickBooks, Sage and Xero.
  • Adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Acting as a support to other team members to share expert knowledge and give direction where necessary.
  • Working as an effective team member, involving self and others to achieve business goals.
  • Ensuring continuous professional self-development.
  • Identifying training needs, planning and co-ordinating this with Line Manager.
  • Promoting the practice in order to attract new business, building good client relations and contributing to the company’s continuous development.
