TMM Recruitment is delighted to be supporting with a permanent Buyer position for a company providing services to the global energy sector. The role, which is based in Altens, is well-suited to candidates who have experience in a similar role within a similar industry.
As Buyer, you are required to have sound knowledge of procurement and will be responsible for the coordination of procurement and materials.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and negotiating procurement of goods and services.
- Working alongside other departments within the business.
- Processing supplier non-conformances.
- Liaising with other departments in regard to supplier invoice queries.
- Providing updates to Operations on orders.
- Expediting POs to allow for on-time delivery.
- Ensuring correct certification is uploaded to POs.
- Working with the business to ensure stock efficiency.
Our client is seeking a candidate with the following skills, experience, and knowledge:
- Sound knowledge of procurement.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in a similar role within a similar sector.
- Experience of negotiating with suppliers.
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
