Contract Manager - VR/32068
This role will support a major UK asset as it transitions from project phase into operations, taking responsibility for the principal lease and Operations and Maintenance contracts and acting as the focal point for revenue and cost oversight. You will manage variations, contractual notices and performance mechanisms, ensuring obligations are clearly understood and delivered across the organisation during a key stage in the asset’s lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the asset’s lease and Operations and Maintenance contracts.
- Maintaining oversight and reporting of contract related income and expenditure, including lease rates, reimbursable costs, fees and KPI driven incentive mechanisms.
- Supporting the Asset Manager in overseeing contractual compliance, ensuring the operations team understands and adheres to contractual obligations.
- Owning and administering KPI and gain share mechanisms, gathering operational data and preparing inputs to support client invoicing.
- Identifying and tracking contractual milestones and deliverables, ensuring internal awareness and timely completion.
- Managing engagement with the client on contractual matters, including formal correspondence and commercial clarification points.
- Managing and controlling variation orders, ensuring required operational inputs are obtained and internal commercial guidelines are followed.
- Leading and supporting operating cost budget preparation and monitor expenditure against approved budgets in line with contract requirements.
- Providing oversight of client invoice preparation to ensure alignment with agreed contractual mechanisms and cost recovery provisions.
- Managing contractual notices, amendments and disputes, and ensure subcontracting arrangements remain compliant with client contract requirements.
About You:
- Extensive experience in a similar Contract Manager or senior contracts role within large industrial or offshore operations, ideally supporting FPSO assets.
- Comfortable working closely with operations teams and senior stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are understood and delivered.
- Bachelor university degree or higher in a relevant technical, business or legal discipline, with professional accreditation desirable.
