Contracts & Procurement Analyst (Renewables) - VR/32216

This role supports onshore renewable energy projects and central services, providing comprehensive contracts and procurement support to safeguard commercial interests and ensure compliance. Focused on tender preparation, negotiation and contract administration, it contributes to project delivery and corporate service requirements. This is a contract initially through to the end of November 2026, with scope for annual renewal.

     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, negotiating, awarding and administering contracts for works, goods and services to support project and business requirements.
  • Providing contracts and procurement support to onshore renewable energy projects throughout development and construction phases.
  • Managing tendering activities, including supplier identification and the preparation and issuance of CFTs, RFIs, EOIs and associated documentation.
  • Evaluating the commercial elements of bids, coordinating inputs from technical, legal and HSE stakeholders.
  • Negotiating contractual terms and conditions with suppliers and support contract award recommendations.
  • Assisting in the development of contracting strategies, procurement plans and Recommendation to Award documentation.
  • Developing and maintaining procurement plans and contract registers for projects and central services.
  • Managing a portfolio of central services contracts affecting multiple UK affiliates, including renewals, extensions and variation orders.
  • Drafting and managing contractual correspondence, monitoring contractor performance and supporting supplier quality initiatives.
  • Monitoring relevant markets and supporting commercial decision-making to ensure value and compliance.

      

About You:

  • Proven experience in a contracts and procurement role, managing activities from tender preparation through to contract award and administration.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate bids, negotiate effectively and deliver value while managing risk.
  • Sound understanding of procurement processes, contract administration and supplier performance management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience within the renewables sector is advantageous but not essential.
