Working closely with project and contract stakeholders, you will provide accurate and timely cost information to support decision-making, ensuring budgets, forecasts and project controls remain robust throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and delivering high-quality cost reports, including trend analysis, risk commentary and financial insights.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost management activities across projects.
• Monitoring performance against baseline budgets and identifying risks, changes, variations and opportunities.
• Attending cost meetings and contributing to discussions around financial performance and project delivery.
• Supporting cost estimates, variation orders and change management processes.
• Integrating cost and schedule information to support earned value analysis and performance reporting.
• Analysing project metrics, including earned value, value of work completed and forecast performance.
• Providing clear commentary on cost variances, margins and financial outlook.
• Supporting month-end activities, including accruals, WIP reviews and invoicing processes.
• Assisting with audits, assurance reviews and continuous improvement of cost control processes.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have previous experience within a cost engineering, project controls or similar commercial environment. You will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial and project data to provide meaningful insight.

You will be confident working with Excel and cost management systems, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
