A temporary part time opportunity for a Digital WorkSafe Administrator, supporting the coordination of orders and logistics for ongoing projects. Based remotely with occasional travel to site in Aberdeen, this role involves managing suppliers, overseeing delivery schedules, and maintaining accurate documentation. Ideal for candidates with a background in logistics, shipping administration, or supply chain who enjoy a structured and varied workload.

     

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the process of WorkSafe consumables orders, from initial purchasing through to delivery and completion.
  • Keeping project records and files organised and up to date.
  • Acting as the point of contact with suppliers to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
  • Sharing updates on expected delivery timescales and flag delays to the wider team.
  • Providing logistical support for deliveries and export arrangements.
  • Preparing and managing the necessary shipping and export paperwork.
  • Arranging uplift of goods by clients and liaising with freight forwarding partners.
  • Tracking delivery milestones and ensuring key dates are met.
  • Raising purchase orders and coordinating with finance and warehouse colleagues.
  • Carrying out a variety of administrative tasks to support the Digital Team’s activities.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping administration.
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance competing deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Confident communication skills to work with suppliers, customers, and freight providers.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach to handle unexpected challenges.
  • Knowledge of export and shipping documentation would be advantageous.
