Duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinate the end-to-end logistics and transportation process to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of internal and external orders
• Monitor all stages of the shipping process and provide regular updates to stakeholders and end users
• Liaise with freight suppliers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective shipping methods are used, balancing cost and operational risk
• Act as a key point of contact for logistics and customs matters, resolving issues and disputes with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain a good understanding of customs procedures, including inward processing, airworthiness and regulated goods requirements
• Ensure all shipping documentation and data is accurate, up to date and compliant with customs and licensing regulations
• Manage freight spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
• Oversee invoice approvals and resolve any related queries
• Work collaboratively with wider Supply Chain functions to support overall operational performance

Requirements:

• Experience in a logistics roles with UK Customs knowledge.
• Knowledge and experience of ERP system(s).
• Self-motivated and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
