Document Controller - VR/32578
Opportunity for an experienced Document Controller for a 6-month contract. Based South of Aberdeen. The role involves document control, client submissions, compliance management and reporting, ensuring all project records remain accurate, traceable, audit-ready and aligned with contractual requirements.
Key Overview:
- Manage and maintain project document control systems and registers.
- Coordinate document submissions, approvals and revisions with clients.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements and audit standards.
- Produce document status reports and monitor deliverable progress.
- Support Project Managers and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Main Duties:
- Control the receipt, distribution, revision and archiving of project documentation.
- Prepare, review and formally submit documentation to clients.
- Maintain version control and ensure access to the latest approved documents.
- Track approvals, comments and outstanding document actions.
- Support project close-out activities, including final documentation packages.
Applicants to this role require:
- Previous experience within Document Control, Project Administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and document control processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders in a project-driven environment.
