Temporary Document Controller opportunity based in Dyce, with an immediate requirement for someone to join the team. Supporting a busy operations team, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate documentation, managing records and ensuring information is controlled and distributed effectively. This role will suit an organised individual with strong systems skills, a proactive approach and a willingness to get involved wherever support is needed

    

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Managing and organising third-party documentation in accordance with document control procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintaining document registers, transmittals and controlled records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Assisting with the preparation, review and distribution of company and project documentation.
  • Ensuring Master Document Lists are maintained and updated in line with internal procedures.
  • Liaising with internal teams, clients and third-party suppliers regarding document control requirements and document status.
  • Coordinating document revisions and ensuring documentation is compliant with company standards and formatting requirements.
  • Administrating Management of Change documentation and support associated processes.
  • Raising purchase requisitions and maintaining purchase order and project tracking records.
  • Supporting the monitoring of vendor documentation and key project deliverables.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider operations team as required.

         

Applicants to this role require

  • Previous experience within document control, administration or a coordination role.
  • Strong IT and systems skills with the ability to quickly pick up new processes and software.
  • A proactive approach, taking ownership of tasks and identifying where support is required.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to support the wider team when required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
