You’ll be the primary point of contact for electrical issues, supporting high and low voltage maintenance, guiding cost effective repair decisions, and ensuring maintenance routines are efficient and effective for offshore teams.

The Electrical Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Acting as the onshore focal point for all electrical matters.
• Providing support to offshore installations for all electrical high and low voltage maintenance requirements.
• Making cost effective decisions with regard to the repair and maintenance of installation equipment.
• Reviewing planned maintenance routines to ensure equipment is maintained correctly whilst making most effective use of work force.
• Determining spares requirement for items of equipment.
• Raising modification requests, reviewing technical content of modification requests raised by offshore.
• Raising contract service orders (technical work scope) for vendors attending offshore.
• Reviewing technical content of maintenance frame agreements.
• Assessing and issuing authorisation certificates to offshore electrical personnel.

Experience / Qualifications:

• A degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, or similar, is essential.
• Chartered Engineer status would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar operations-based asset support Electrical Engineer type role, directly within the North Sea Oil & Gas industry, is essential.
• Applicants should have experience in power generation and power distribution.
• Applicants should have experience with the commissioning of electrical systems.
