Entrepreneurship Development and Delivery Manager - VR/32814
A permanent, Aberdeen-based role leading the development and delivery of entrepreneurship programmes that support founders and growth-focused ventures. You will manage a varied programme portfolio, build trusted founder relationships and work with expert partners to turn business needs into practical support.
Working closely with the Director of Entrepreneurship, you will manage and develop a portfolio of education, mentoring and business growth activity for founders and ventures at different stages of their journey. The role combines programme management, founder engagement, facilitation, partnership working and evidence-led improvement.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating entrepreneurship programmes, translating strategic priorities into clear delivery plans, milestones and outcomes.
- Running multiple programmes and projects concurrently, delivering agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
- Building trusted relationships with founders and understand their ambitions, development stage and current business challenges.
- Managing the founder and venture pipeline, using CRM and programme data to identify next steps, gaps in support and opportunities for intervention.
- Engaging and managing educators, coaches, mentors, delivery partners and specialist suppliers.
- Facilitating and hosting workshops, cohort sessions and peer-learning activity for founders.
- Monitoring programme performance, founder engagement and venture progression, preparing clear reports and recommendations.
- Managing programme budgets, procurement and funding requirements in line with governance and reporting standards.
- Representing the entrepreneurship programme with founders, partners and stakeholders, and connect ventures with relevant experts, investors and networks.
Applicants to this role require
- Strong practical experience managing and delivering programmes, projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, activities and deadlines.
- Experience working directly with founders, entrepreneurs, SMEs or growth businesses and translating their needs into appropriate support or connections.
- Proven relationship management experience with external partners, delivery organisations, specialists or suppliers.
- Confidence presenting to groups and facilitating workshops or discussions with founders and business leaders.
- Experience using data and management information to manage a pipeline and support decision-making.
- Experience managing budgets and working within financial and governance requirements.
- Degree-level education or equivalent relevant professional and practical experience.
- A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, strong organisation and communication skills, and confidence using CRM and digital tools.
