As an expert in SAP MM, SAP PM, and systems like Maximo, you ensure ERP configurations support efficient operations, coordinate with IT teams on enhancements, and provide ongoing user support. Your work leverages ERP and analytics to improve supply chain and maintenance performance while maintaining IT standards and security compliance.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with business stakeholders in Supply Chain and Operations to gather requirements, identify pain points, and improve SCM/EAM processes such as inventory management, procurement, maintenance planning, and work order processing.
• Analysing current business processes and ERP (SAP MM/PM, Maximo) configurations to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and better use of analytics for KPIs and reporting.
• Defining, proposing, and implementing ERP solutions that are cost-effective, compliant with IT standards, and aligned with digital transformation goals.
• Partnering with Project Managers and IT teams to plan and deliver system enhancements, including user acceptance testing, change control, and post-implementation support.
• Leading assigned project resources, coordinate with vendors, and ensure high-quality deliverables with minimal operational disruption.
• Providing advanced functional support for ERP incidents and service requests, including troubleshooting, minor configuration changes, and maintaining system reliability and data integrity.
• Ensuring ERP and EAM systems remain up-to-date and secure, incorporating best practices for access control, patching, and cybersecurity awareness.
• Developing or coordinating ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics to meet emerging business needs, supporting cross-functional integration with Finance and other departments as needed.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of SAP and Maximo capabilities, recommending optimisations, integrations, or new tools to improve SCM and maintenance operations.

About you:

Professional Skills and Experience:

• Experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role in upstream oil & gas or heavy industry, with a focus on Supply Chain or Maintenance processes.
• Strong expertise in SAP MM/PM and EAM systems like Maximo, including configuration, support, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to support end-users, translate business requirements into system solutions, and drive process improvements in procurement, inventory, and maintenance workflows.
• Comfortable with data analytics, KPIs, and reporting for SCM/EAM operations.
• Skilled in problem-solving across multiple systems and collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Knowledge of IT change management processes, including functional specifications, testing, and system transports.
• Adaptable and committed to continuous learning in ERP/EAM technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• ERP certifications (SAP MM/PM, Maximo) preferred; project management or supply chain/maintenance certifications (PMP, Prince2, APICS CPIM, CMRP) are a plus.
