You will be responsible for proactive supplier engagement, closely monitoring purchase orders, and identifying potential delays early to minimise impact on the project. A strong focus on data accuracy and reporting is essential to support effective decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Maintain direct and regular contact with suppliers via phone, email, and video to confirm order status, progress, and shipment schedules, escalating issues where required.
• Proactively follow up on overdue items and implement recovery plans to protect project timelines.
• Identify and communicate supply chain risks and bottlenecks, providing clear recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Produce accurate and insightful expediting reports using Excel (including pivot tables and dashboards), highlighting critical items, delays, and trends.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve material issues impacting construction and commissioning activities.
• Support vendor performance reviews and monitor the effectiveness of supplier recovery actions.

About you:

• Proven expediting experience within major capital projects, ideally in oil & gas, offshore, or EPC environments.
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to develop and maintain detailed trackers and reporting dashboards.
• Experience using ERP/procurement systems such as STAR FSM or similar.
• Confident communicator, able to engage suppliers and drive progress.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
