Working closely with the QC and production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring fabricated components and assemblies meet required specifications, standards and customer expectations.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional inspections of fabricated components and assemblies.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Identify, document and report non-conformances.
• Support quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Liaise with fabrication and production teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Assist with inspection records and quality documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function.

Applicants to this role require

• Time served Fabricator or Plater.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of fabrication tolerances and quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Previous quality inspection or QC experience would be advantageous, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.
