Main duties and responsibilities

• Performing fabrication and welding tasks using MMA, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
• Operating welding and fabrication equipment, safely and efficiently.
• Collaborating with engineering and project management teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, always adhering to safety protocols and company HSE policies and procedures.
• Participating in offshore and international projects as required, demonstrating adaptability to varying environments and project scopes.

Applicants to this role require

• Time served apprenticeship and/or proven experience as a Fabricator Welder, preferably either in workshop, offshore or international setting.
• Proficiency in MMA, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
• Familiarity with DNV 2.7-1 fabrication standards and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication and welding tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous experience working with forklifts and overhead cranes would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Willingness to travel for offshore and international projects when required.
