The successful candidate will play a key role in the manufacture, modification, repair and refurbishment of operational equipment and infrastructure, working as part of a collaborative team committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Overview job description:

• Carrying out fabrication, welding, fitting, plate preparation and structural assembly activities.
• Manufacturing, repairing and refurbishing equipment, structures and operational assets.
• Interpreting fabrication drawings and assembling components to required specifications and tolerances.
• Supporting equipment builds, upgrades, maintenance projects and mobilisation activities.
• Working alongside mechanical, hydraulic and electrical personnel to deliver integrated equipment scopes.
• Contributing to workshop efficiency, continuous improvement initiatives and a strong safety culture.

Applicants to this role require:

• A time-served Fabricator/Welder apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.  
• MIG & FCAW experience.
• Proven experience in fabrication, welding and structural steel assembly. 
• The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
• Experience working with carbon steel fabrication and welding processes.
• A practical, hands-on approach with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Experience within offshore, energy, heavy engineering, marine or industrial environments would be advantageous.
