Finance Administrator - VR/32106
Join a growing energy services company as an Accounts Assistant on an ongoing temporary basis. In this position, you will support the day-to-day running of the UK finance function by processing and raising invoices, carrying out reconciliations, and assisting with month-end tasks. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive finance team and gain varied, hands-on experience in a busy environment.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Accurately inputting daily financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Conducting ledger entry reviews, ensuring accuracy.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies within financial documents.
- Supporting with various tasks during the month-end close process.
- Helping to prepare and issue sales invoices while assisting with reporting and credit control activities.
- Processing purchase invoices, ensuring they are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
- Carrying out reconciliations across bank accounts, ledgers, and other key accounts.
- Providing ad-hoc support to the Finance Manager as required.
Applicants to this role require
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role preferred.
- HND or equivalent qualification in Accounting and Finance.
- Excel skills, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail, whilst ensuring tasks are completed in adherence with deadlines.
