• Prepare annual statutory financial statements and management accounts as required.
• Produce accurate financial reports and information for key stakeholders.
• Provide supporting information and explanations to external auditors.
• Ensure reporting complies with IFRS, applicable accounting standards, legislation and relevant accounting policies.
• Support internal audit activities and respond to information requests.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare reconciliations and detailed analysis of key balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and ensure financial controls are addressed within required deadlines.
• Review and support the work of more junior accounting colleagues.
• Assist with financial reporting queries across the wider finance function.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to greater standardisation and best practice.
• Support additional finance projects and ad-hoc activities as required.
