As Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role across the finance function combining strong technical accounting expertise with commercial insight. You’ll work closely with the Leadership Team and external stakeholders, helping shape the financial direction of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, reporting and analysis.
• Leading annual financial statements and acting as the main contract for the external audit.
• Managing cashflow forecasting.
• Preparing investor reports.
• Ensuring UK tax and statutory compliance.
• Supporting fundraising and investment activity.
• Developing cost and project models to support decision making.
• Improving finance processes, systems and controls.

You’ll ideally be a qualified Accountant with:

• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Good knowledge of UK tax and compliance would be advantageous.
• Experience with accounting software.
• A hands on and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
