Fixed Asset & Inventory Manager - VR/32808

Seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee fixed assets, capital expenditure and inventory accounting. This varied role offers exposure to global operations, responsibility for financial controls and reporting, and the opportunity to lead process improvements while working with stakeholders across multiple functions.

     

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end accounting, reporting and controls for fixed assets, capital expenditure and inventory.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual fixed asset reporting, including depreciation, asset movements and CAPEX analysis.
  • Ensure accurate accounting for asset additions, disposals, transfers and intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, valuations and provision calculations.
  • Monitor and govern expenditure approval processes, capital projects and work-in-progress balances.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial and operational systems and drive process improvements.
  • Lead audit preparation, financial statement support and responses to external audit queries.
  • Partner with operational, supply chain, maintenance and finance teams across global locations.
  • Provide guidance and support and contribute to ongoing team development.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Professional accountancy qualification.
  • Strong experience of month-end close, financial reporting and working within an industry environment.
  • Sound knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and relevant statutory requirements.
  • Experience leading month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
