We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join a well-established freight forwarding company in Aberdeen. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of import and export processes, liaising with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arranging import clearances and manage the creation of import and export customs documentation.
- Ensuring all shipping paperwork is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Communicating daily with clients, providing updates and addressing enquiries.
- Preparing quotes, following up with clients, and completing all necessary shipping documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar import/export role.
- Familiarity with customs processes and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Confident in liaising with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams at all levels.
