This role will provide support across a range of general accounting activities, with a particular focus on G&A cost management, reporting, analysis, and financial controls. Working closely with the wider finance function and business stakeholders, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial information is delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting monthly G&A reporting, including variance analysis and management information.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and related financial analysis.
• Supporting month-end close activities and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Managing G&A allocations and time-writing processes.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting a strong control environment.
• Building effective relationships across finance and the wider business.
• Supporting process improvements and finance system enhancements.
• Assisting with ad hoc accounting tasks and projects.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant or part-qualified Accountant with relevant experience. Previous G&A accounting experience within the energy sector would be advantageous, along with knowledge of SAP or similar finance systems.
