This is a key leadership role for a seasoned oil and gas professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgement and the ability to influence decision-making across a complex asset portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hydrocarbon accounting activities, ensuring accurate and robust production allocation, reconciliation, measurement and reporting.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple assets, ensuring consistency, data integrity and compliance with relevant industry and regulatory requirements.
• Support production optimisation through high-quality analysis, investigation of discrepancies and identification of improvement opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with asset teams and key stakeholders to resolve complex accounting and measurement issues.
• Influence stakeholders at different levels, translating technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

About You

• Significant experience in hydrocarbon accounting within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of production allocation, reconciliation, measurement and production reporting.
• Proven technical judgement and leadership capability, with the confidence to influence across a complex asset portfolio.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working with production data systems such as EnergySys, Axis and PI would be advantageous.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective relationships across asset, operations, engineering and production teams.
