Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating import shipments across multiple modes of transport.
• Arranging collections, customs clearance and final delivery of goods.
• Liaising with overseas agents, carriers, shipping lines and transport providers.
• Processing import declarations and customs entries in line with HMRC regulations.
• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry across internal systems.
• Providing logistics guidance and support to clients on import requirements.
• Resolving day-to-day operational issues with customers and suppliers.
• Maintaining compliance with company procedures, customs regulations and industry standards.
• Preparing and issuing invoices in line with agreed KPIs.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to service improvements.

About you:

• Experience in imports and customs clearance within a freight forwarding environment.
• Knowledge of HMRC procedures and import documentation.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with customs systems would be advantageous.
