As an Inventory Accountant you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the integrity of account balances, and performing timely analysis and reconciliation. You will support the Supply Chain Department by providing financial advice and constructive challenges to deliver value.

Your responsibilities include validating inventory disposals, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls, and proactively monitoring inventory balances. You will also be supporting annual physical counts, preparing reconciliations, maintaining accounting procedures, and providing monthly inventory status reports. Strong problem-solving skills are essential to resolve complex inventory accounting issues.

A related degree or equivalent experience, previous experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry, and proficiency in SAP is required.

Ideally you would have completed or be pursuing an accounting qualification.
