The role will be responsible for financial close, including account postings, billings, variance analysis and General Ledger reconciliations. You will also support the non-operated JV billing and cash call process, track AFE spend and liaise with operators where required.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing transactional data, including accruals and cost allocation information.
• Maintaining and updating SAP cost allocations.
• Administering non-operated JV billings and cash calls.
• Tracking AFE spend and following up with operators.
• Supporting the integrity of financial statements and controls.
• Supporting the classification of costs between Opex and Capex.
• Completing General Ledger reconciliations.
• Providing ad-hoc cost analysis and supporting management reporting.
• Supporting the Authorisation for Expenditure process.
• Assisting with JV and statutory audits.
• Supporting emissions and regulatory transactional requirements.

The successful applicant will ideally:

• Be part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with relevant industry experience.
• Have strong analytical skills.
• Offer previous experience using SAP or SunSystems, alongside strong Excel and wider Microsoft Office skills.
• Be comfortable working to tight deadlines, managing their own workload and building effective relationships with stakeholders across the business.
