Main duties and responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry contacts.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and support wider growth initiatives.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends across the marine, oil & gas, and renewables sectors.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, promoting capabilities to new and existing clients.
• Support the development of presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and support project opportunities.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to support ongoing business growth and strategy.

Applicants to this role require

• Previous experience in a business development or client-facing role.
• Industry background within marine, offshore, oil & gas, or renewable energy sectors.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Confident representing a business at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Proactive, well-organised, and self-motivated approach.
• Comfortable carrying out market research and analysing industry trends.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Full UK driving licence.
