Key Account Manager - VR/32372
Business Development-led Key Account Manager role within engineering, supporting the marine, oil & gas and renewable energy sectors. Based in Aberdeen, this is a permanent opportunity suited to a proactive, relationship-driven individual who enjoys a visible, client-facing role and contributing to wider business growth.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry contacts.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and support wider growth initiatives.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends across the marine, oil & gas, and renewables sectors.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, promoting capabilities to new and existing clients.
- Support the development of presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and support project opportunities.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to support ongoing business growth and strategy.
Applicants to this role require
- Previous experience in a business development or client-facing role.
- Industry background within marine, offshore, oil & gas, or renewable energy sectors.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Confident representing a business at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Proactive, well-organised, and self-motivated approach.
- Comfortable carrying out market research and analysing industry trends.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Full UK driving licence.
