Enhance your logistics career by contributing to a team that values quality and efficiency. Our client are seeking a logistics professional to oversee and coordinate services across projects and departments, ensuring high standards and seamless delivery.

     

As Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the company, optimising freight costs, and maintaining strong communication with teams.  

  • Being the main point of contact for logistics within the UK.
  • Coordinating transport arrangements for domestic and international deliveries by road, sea, or air.
  • Engaging early with teams to pinpoint logistics needs and mitigate potential issues.
  • Overseeing safe delivery and reporting any damages or discrepancies.
  • Preparing and managing commercial invoices, export, and import paperwork.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and customs requirements for documentation.
  • Managing shipping costs and providing cost updates.
  • Organising offshore shipment documentation and addressing licensing for HMRC.
  • Supporting expediting orders and participating in daily operations updates.
  • Communicating dangerous goods information to freight forwarders, including safety data sheets.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of transport regulations, guidelines, and safety standards, including those related to Dangerous Goods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a focused team.
  • Able to perform under pressure while delivering effective solutions to clients.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds client expectations with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Flexible with a strong focus on client deadlines.
