Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and expedite import and export shipments to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.
• Obtain freight quotations and respond to internal and external logistics enquiries.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate the smooth movement of goods.
• Monitor shipment progress, proactively identifying and resolving delays or issues.
• Process and track logistics transactions, ensuring records are maintained accurately and completed within agreed timelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.

About you:

• Previous experience within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain or a similar commercial environment.
• Experience coordinating imports and exports and preparing associated shipping documentation.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail.
• Experience using ERP or business systems would be advantageous.
