Operating from a global network of over 80 offices worldwide, the business is recognised for delivering reliable logistics services, maintaining high standards of compliance, and supporting complex international shipping operations.

     

  • Coordinating the transportation of goods via air, sea and road freight, ensuring shipments are delivered in line with customer requirements.
  • Arranging and monitoring domestic and international shipments, proactively managing potential delays and operational issues.
  • Preparing and processing customs and shipping documentation, including commercial invoices and packing lists.
  • Ensuring import and export activities comply with relevant customs regulations and company procedures.
  • Obtaining and maintaining customs entries and supporting documentation to satisfy audit requirements.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders and logistics providers to facilitate the efficient movement of goods.
  • Managing HMRC-related records where required.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HMRC regulations, Incoterms and customs commodity codes.
  • Adhering to company procedures and relevant regulations relating to customs, transportation, security, compliance, quality and health & safety.

    

About you:

  • Experience within logistics, imports, exports, customs or a similar environment. 
  • Strong customs knowledge and practical experience of import/export processes.
  • Experience working with air, sea and road freight would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively and respond to changing operational demands.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work independently whilst contributing positively within a team environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, colleagues and external suppliers.
