Join an established international organisation supporting complex global operations across the energy sector. This Logistics Coordinator role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient movement of equipment and materials, acting as the focal point for logistics activities across designated regions and transport lanes.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, freight providers and import/export teams, you'll coordinate shipments from planning through to delivery, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency and high service levels throughout the logistics process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate domestic and international logistics movements across assigned regions and transport lanes.
• Review and validate transport requests to ensure on-time delivery requirements are achieved.
• Prepare equipment load plans to maximise equipment utilisation and support operational requirements. Plan cost-effective shipment and transport routes, identifying consolidation and optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor and track shipment movements, managing deviations and communicating updates to stakeholders.
• Manage weekly transport schedules and regional milk-run activities.
• Raise work orders and obtain associated cost approvals prior to transport execution.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics providers, assessing performance against agreed service levels.
• Ensure compliance with international transport regulations, company procedures and QHSE requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying logistics network efficiencies and investigating service deviations.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation and system records.
• Work closely with Import/Export teams to ensure smooth coordination of transport activities.

About you:

• Previous experience within logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain coordination.
• Experience managing domestic and/or international shipments.
• Knowledge of freight operations, transport planning and import/export processes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
