An experienced Management Accountant is required to support the Finance Team to the South of Aberdeen. This role will assist with management reporting, month-end processes and improving the accuracy of financial records. The position is temporary with the potential to become permanent.

Example duties may include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Produce financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Investigate and explain variances.
• Assist with cash flow reporting.
• Maintain financial controls and procedures.
• Support audit requirements and ad hoc finance projects.

Applicants to this role require:

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
• Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Sage experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
