This exclusive opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator is a maternity cover contract within a prominent legal firm based in Aberdeen City Centre. This role offers hands-on exposure within marketing, communications and PR activity, with autonomy to drive content and messaging across the business.

     

A Marketing Coordinator is required to join a well-established legal firm on a 12-month maternity cover contract, with handover period. This is a standalone role, reporting into senior stakeholders and working closely with Partners and internal teams across the business. There is a wider support function to aide the activities of the Marketing Coordinator in their independent position.

     

The position plays a key role in maintaining and delivering the firm’s marketing, communications and PR activity, ensuring consistent messaging and visibility across all channels. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day marketing delivery and content creation while keeping in alignment with the outlined framework for the upcoming year.

      

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft and manage content including social media, press releases and website updates.
  • Ensure consistency in tone of voice and brand messaging across all communications.
  • Manage marketing calendars, trackers and internal communications updates.
  • Support business development activity and ensure key updates are reflected across platforms.
  • Assist with the coordination of events, including client events and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain marketing data and support ongoing improvements, including potential CRM implementation.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Partners, to gather content and progress activity.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Previous experience within a marketing and/or communications role.
  • Strong copywriting ability, with confidence drafting PR content and communications.
  • Experience managing social media channels and digital content platforms.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and following up on actions.
