We are currently looking for a Technician on a long term, permanent staff basis from a fabric maintenance background and qualifications / certifications in painting / blasting. This will very much be a hands-on role involving equipment maintenance, and will be mainly onshore but some offshore trips will be required too.

Duties and Responsibilities

Day to day duties will be very hands on and include:

    • Maintaining equipment. 
    • Mobilising / demobilising kit.
    • Customer demonstrations.
    • Training.
    • Site visits.
    • Onsite projects.
    • Offshore projects.

The role is Aberdeen based and candidates must live locally as main part of the role will be onshore / workshop based.

Technical Requirements

Candidates must be able to go offshore, the potential length of trips / hours are:

3 days minimum, 2 or 3 week trips offshore, if interested potential longer term deployments overseas in the future (6 weeks on 2 weeks off). 

Minimum required certification / training

BOSIET, MIST, CA-EBS, Shoulder Width and OGUK 

Minimum 1 trip Offshore experience

Driving license 

Able to use a computer & Microsoft Office based tools 

Industry qualifications specific to blasting & painting (preferred)

 ICATS Blaster/Sprayer

 ISSOW training

 OPITO trained Blaster/Sprayer Level 1

 CSCS, IPAF, PASMA,

 Confined Space and Working at Height certificates.
