Main duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinate operational schedules and resource requirements to support production activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with internal teams to maintain continuity of supply.
• Maintain accurate production, job and cost information within company systems.
• Support the review and processing of customer orders, ensuring requirements are captured correctly.
• Raise and track purchase orders while assisting with material replenishment activities.
• Prepare and maintain job documentation and operational records.
• Produce KPI and performance reports, highlighting progress against operational targets.
• Assist with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow and operational processes.
• Liaise with internal departments to help resolve issues affecting delivery schedules or product quality.
• Support compliance activities, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applicants to this role require:

• Previous experience in an Operations Coordinator or similar operational support role.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with different departments and customers.
• Strong IT skills and the ability to work with business systems and reporting tools.
• A proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
• Good numerical ability and accuracy when managing operational data.
• Exposure to manufacturing, production planning or inventory control environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
