Operations Document Controller - VR/32514
In this role as an Operations Document Controller, you will support the play a key part in ensuring operational and safety-critical documentation is accurately prepared, verified and compliant. This is a part-time position, around 20 hours per week, with hybrid working available. As this is a temporary 1 month position, candidates with immediate availability are preferred.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the preparation, verification and transfer of operational documentation required for asset transition.
- Ensuring safety-critical drawings, procedures, manuals and records are complete, current, approved and ready for handover.
- Maintaining full traceability of document revisions, approval records and transfer activity.
- Managing safety-critical documentation including P&IDs, PFDs, cause and effect diagrams, electrical and instrumentation drawings, equipment datasheets, operating procedures and maintenance procedures.
- Managing documentation within QualiWare and Conisio, supporting quality assurance activity and data migration into the receiving organisation’s document management systems.
- Providing regular reporting on document status, handover progress, outstanding actions and risks.
Applicants to this role require:
- Proven document control experience within the oil and gas or wider energy sector.
- Experience supporting asset transfers, transition projects or major operational change programmes.
- Strong understanding of document control principles, revision management and document traceability.
- Hands-on experience using QualiWare and Conisio; experience with PIMs would be a significant advantage.
