Paralegal - VR/32390
Join a well-established legal firm as a full-time Paralegal on a permanent basis. Working within a busy practice, you will manage your own caseload from inception through to completion, working closely with solicitors and a wider support team to ensure transactions are handled efficiently and to a high standard. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish.
- Draft and review legal documentation including dispositions, standard securities and missives.
- Conduct title searches and liaise with Registers of Scotland.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
- Coordinate all aspects of transactions to ensure smooth progression.
- Complete post-settlement tasks including registrations and LBTT submissions.
- Maintain accurate case management records and client files.
- Support general administrative duties including scanning, photocopying and file archiving.
Applicants to this role require
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within Private Client setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
