Part Time Finance Manager - VR/32168

Opening for a Part-time Finance Manager to join a local family-owned business. Managing the day-to-day accounting function and a small team. Successful applicants will ideally have worked previously in an SME and will be either professionally qualified or qualified by experience with strong systems experience.

   

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining budgets, forecasts and P&L to support day to day operations.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Cashflow management, forecasting and reporting.
  • Financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation of year end accounts.
  • Stock control/inventory management.
  • Liaising with banks, auditors, insurance providers and external accountants.
  • VAT returns.
  • Developing systems and procedures, continuous improvements.
  • Managing and mentoring finance team.

        

Applicants to this role require

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an SME.
  • Professionally qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Keen interest and experience in delivering process improvements and efficiencies.
