Duties and Responsibilities

• Process payrolls across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles with a high degree of accuracy.
• Manage multiple payroll schedules, ensuring deadlines and individual requirements are consistently met.
• Prepare and submit Real-Time Information (RTI) returns in line with statutory obligations.
• Support year-end processes, including the production of relevant payroll documentation.
• Administer pension auto-enrolment, carrying out assessments and liaising with providers.
• Act as a key contact for payroll-related queries, providing clear and timely responses.
• Keep clients informed of changes to payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection standards.
• Process employee changes, including starters, leavers and amendments to personal or pay details.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in payroll procedures and systems, whilst keeping up to date with regulatory changes.

About You

• Solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing across multiple pay frequencies.
• Strong understanding of current payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders and handling queries in a professional manner.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to continuous process improvements.
