Payroll Co-ordinator - VR/32350
Experienced Payroll Co-ordinator required to join a busy, multi-site organisation on a maternity cover contract through to June 2027, based in Bridge of Don. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing across multiple contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to strict deadlines. You will manage new starts, leavers, statutory and occupational payments, and payroll queries, while maintaining high-quality records and reporting. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will support payroll analysis, audits, and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with HMRC and pension legislation. Strong Excel skills and payroll experience are essential and attention to detail essential for success here.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll across multiple contracts within strict deadlines.
- Administer new starters, leavers, and all associated payroll adjustments.
- Calculate statutory payments, occupational leave, and other entitlement-based pay.
- Apply pay agreements, including annual uplifts and back pay calculations where required.
- Respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally, liaising with internal departments.
- Produce, review, and analyse payroll reports for wider business functions.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and payroll documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, pension legislation, and year-end processes.
- Support payroll audits, checking accuracy of peer work and providing feedback where needed.
- Assist in payroll sign-off checks, ensuring accuracy prior to final processing.
